D.-H. Keller is a pseudonym, devised in the 1950s to obtain the same initials as David H. Keller, and confuse potential buyers. Sources disagree as to who hid behind it. It seems to have been invented by François Richard, literary director of Fleuve Noir at the time, either for himself or a / some house author(s), such as F. Richard-Bessière who has always denied it.

BnF and WorldCat develop the initials into Dominique-Henri Keller.
